With my photography balancing between staged editorial and spontaneous documentation, I have always made the ordinary blossom. The sun is something that we are blessed with everyday give or take the weather. Sunsets have guest stared in my photo work and has always had a place in my heart since growing up in Florida. Making friends wake up early to chase a sunrise on the beach or spending my post workout smoke sessions watching the sunset, it was always felt special to watch, document or sedate myself. A transformative time when the sky constantly changes in colors and brightness as if it resembles my community. The sun falls and gets dark for it to do this all over again the next day. She lives to see another day. Bringing people together has always been of interest for me and I wanted to find a way to do that through my photography. I asked a group of friends and those who follow me to meet me at a specific pier off the Hudson River in New York City thus creating Sunsetters.
